Week #11—Stand Boldly for What God Calls Right (Caring for Self)
Scripture: Ephesians 6:13 – “Put on the full armor of God, so that you can stand your ground.”
Caring for ourselves means preparing our hearts and minds for the spiritual challenges that we will face each day. The Bible reminds us that these challenges come NOT from humans but from wickedness pushed by powerful spiritual rulers of the darkness. The Bible does NOT call us to fear, but to be prepared and equipped by putting on God’s armor. No matter what comes in life, be they distractions, doubts, or pressures, the armor of God equips us with the spiritual strength to stand firm in righteousness and truth.
Daily, we are called to equip ourselves with this protection that only God can provide. This intentional choice protects our hearts, guides our decisions, and gives us confidence to act boldly according to His calling. Caring for ourselves means relying on God’s power rather than our own as we face all of life’s battles.
Today, put on God’s armor. Stand rooted in His truth, strengthened by His Spirit, and confident that He will help you Withstand EVERY challenge.
Prayer:
Lord, help me to put on Your full armor today. Strengthen me to stand firm, make wise choices, and live boldly for what You call right. Amen.
