Week #01Let God's Love Shape Who I Am Today (Caring For Yourself)

Theme: Let God’s Love Shape Who I Am Today
Scripture: 1 John 4:19 – “We love because He first loved us.”

You are God’s masterpiece because He loves all of you. When we truly remember this, our identity begins to change. God’s love has already been revealed—it is not earned through good behavior, performance, or strong faith. It is freely given and always available to be received. Because of this truth, we are no longer defined by yesterday’s mistakes, today’s pressures, or tomorrow’s fears, but by a love that began with God Himself.

God’s love shapes who we are when we allow it to redefine how we see ourselves. Instead of viewing ourselves through the lens of hurt, pride, shame, or insecurity, we can see our identity through God’s grace, patience, and compassion. Loving ourselves becomes less about fluctuating emotions and more about standing in the steady overflow of God’s love—His love working within us.

Today, pause and receive God’s love again. Let it remind you of who you are in Him. When His love shapes your heart, it anchors your identity and guides how you live each day.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for loving me first. Help me to live today rooted in Your love, seeing myself the way You see me, and allowing that love to shape who I am. Amen.
